Has anyone else noticed the spy-ware that is dropped on your computer when visiting POA? Lavasoft Ad-Aware and Spy-Bot both pick it up there. I guess we aren't picking it up here. At least my Anti-spy-ware software isn't catching it here. That always made me a little uncomfortable there. Probably nothing to worry about. But, I never liked it. Guess I'm getting paranoid.

8) 8) 8) PERSONAL EXPERIENCE...

Nothing works as well or more completely than Microsoft's "AntiSpyware" and I have tried many, many, many different ones!!!

All the ones I have tired do something, but Microsoft's is the most complete and comprehensive that eliminated and corrected the problems I was experiencing. SIMPLY, IT WORKED where ALL the others failed.

It's FREE!!! That's right you can download the "Beta" version FREE.

It's simple, just log on to www.microsoft.com and click on product "downloads" then "AntiSpyware" and follow the instructions.

I think you will be amazed what this program will find in your computer... and your system may just mysteriously start performing faster than you remember. You will be glad you did.

Best wishes, Jay

What he said....
I have used it for 6 months or so and have installed it on DOZENS AND DOZENS of customer PCs...

I would be surprised if a Website like that was pushing spyware. dont forget that you could have search ware on your PC that is loading when you go to that site based on what it sees in the browser...

Microsofts antispyware definitions seem a little out of date - Ran it on a customers PC today and then ran Spybot and spybot found a BUNCH of additional stuff...

Hopefully they will update the definitions some as it progresses...

No one antispyware program gets them all. I use several for that reason too. Adaware gets some. Spybot picks up a few more. etc.

Theres a server you should never go to that is run by the russians. Nothing removes the bugs from there very well.

If you can block IP`s put this one in there... 81.222.131.59
It`s called IFRAME DOLLAS server. It`s nasty.

Notic3ed the POA cookie. Took it apart and its harmless.

81.222.131.59 is no longer active ... Cant ping it - Cant do reverse dns lookup... May only be temporary or the scumbags may have moved to new IP
