Nascar Race in Texas today

I'm a little late posting this week... I got one bad ass cold right now, probably from working to much and getting run down.... the f**kin snow here hasn't helped either.....I'm going to change Mother Natures second name to something else....lol

but its all good now ..... its raceday !

Texas is a very fast 1.5 mile Quad oval with 24 degree banking on the corners....the "Car of Tomorrow" is history and the "Car of Yesterday" is today, and that suits me just fine... I don't care if I ever see that fruity wannabe car again.

Tony Stewart won the last race at this track and not one driver has ever won a cup race here twice....

by the look at the line up, I figure it is going to be a chevy day, 8 chevys in the top 10.... first dodge is 14th.

Waltrip failed to qualify again....last week he fell asleep at the wheel and rolled his car a couple of blocks from his home....goof !

hopefully Robbie Gordon will crash early rather than take out a bunch of cars during the whole race...jerk !

Jeffy has been driving pretty good.....driving around with a hard on seems to do good for him...;-)

No snow here, but we didn't miss it by more than 3 or 4 degrees. Gail winds and 4 inches of rain. That makes for a good afternoon watching the race.

Thought I had the winner,,,,,just not enough left to finish Burton off. Great ending. I did pretty good though,,,,Martin in the hunt and got 3rd,,,,Montoya 8th,, showing he will be a factor if Ganassi can get that Dodge to run faster,,,Edwards and Kurt gave it a run.
