Very Cool, Brian! But, you might want to think about getting yourself a Hat before you get a wind-burn....

Ear plugs come first, then roll bar to protect the head, then see if I can afford a hat!:biggrin::biggrin:
Orig 63 427 side oiler engine dual 4 barrel carbs, orig close ratio 4 speed, jag rear end. Contemporary body, frame is unknown at this point. Frame does have a vin tag that starts with CS.
Finally got it running right, goes on a dyno tomorrow (?) for final tuning.
Should be wicked, if I ever unleash it!

turn your sound way up to get a slight idea of how loud this car is.

saw 150 on the speedo at around 5 grand on the tach. Guy working on it wants to change it from the 4 speed trans over to a 5 or 6 gear.

I feel the need...................The need for speed!!!
Everything I've read and heard is that these are very unforgiving to drive.
The guy working on it was telling me of a story of a ride he took in an original, supposedly on the highway at 100, the owner downshifted and hammered it. Three 360's later after starting at 100 they finally stopped spinning. Probably a little embellishment to the story, but when you read the stories of the guys that raced the orig back in the day you get an idea of how difficult they were to control.
