My wife and I nearly moved to Morocca about five years ago for work. We'd still love to move there. Instead we moved to Nepal for four years in 1999. Before that, we lived in Botswana, but spent a lot of time in Cape Town, South Africa, one of the most beautiful places on earth.

I was in Istanbul about twleve years ago and had a great time and ate of really good local food. I'm sure you found the people were friendly.

Awesome ... I'd love to visit Turkey sometime.

I've been lucky enough to visit a couple places ... here goes if i can remember them all:

Canada, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. John, Guadaloupe, Grenada, Venezuela, Jamaica (yeah - hedonism), St. Martin, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Bahamas, Mexico, Costa Rica, England, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Holland, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Qatar.

I might have missed a couple, but i think that's pretty solid list. A couple of places I still haven't seen that are on my must see list are Greece (greek isles) and Peru (machu picchu).

Did you cross the Bosporus into Asia and/or hit the 'Bazar' market ?

pepe we did it all i hit the bazaar and bought some nice things crossed over into asia and took a boat ride up and down the bosphorus.

Did you see any Prowlers while you were there??

I just got back earlier this evening from Cancun... Was down there for a week with meancat and a few other folks.... I'll be damned if one day a prowler didn't pull up at our hotel.... Sure surprised the heck out of us... It had TX plates on it. The guy even knew about the POA site. Jerry got some pictures, I'll post them when he sends them to me.
