Hi everyone, just wanted to say hi and look around. I'm from NJ and looking into buying a car that stands out. I'll be posting a few questions in the gen section shortly.

Thanks in advance!

Hey 08, Exit 135 here. You at Exit 58? Nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you! the 08 moniker is my summer home, I belong to a boating forum and the handle just stuck. My house up north is 07094, exit 141 to 22E to 1&9 north to rt.3 west.

Maybe one day I can buy you lunch and you can let me ride shotgun to get a feel for the car, never ridden in one (yet).

As for meeting Miss Kitty, if she's in the Alabama area I don't think we'll run into one another anytime soon, I have a healthy fear (as a northerner) of law enforcement in the deep south even though I'm a southerner at heart. Hell the south won the war, right?

I'd like to state I feel very welcome by all of you for being such a newbie, that says alot about the class of people here!:tu:

:welcome::welcome:Hey 08 - Welcome to the site. Enjoy the banter and even before you get your cat, try to meet some folks in person. Lots of us have been in-person friends for years....so you will see we enjoy the teasing back and forth.

Once you get your cat...you will truly enjoy it!!

Wow, met up with two other Prowler owners today at the Vince Lombardi rest area on the Turnpike & went over to a show at Orchard Beach, Bronx, NY. In all 14 Kats showed up. Would've given you an unequaled up close & personal day with the Prowler for sure.

Probably no time this week as I'm going to New Castle, Indiana for a Prowler meet Thursday through Sunday.

Well thank you for the offer, however I work on weekends, every weekend. My RDO's are Mon/Tues. I don't start my day (at work) until 2 PM so maybe some sat/sun I can treat you to breakfast at a nearby diner. Look for a PM from me.

No rush, I'm still saving for my car at the rate of about $100 per week and am around the 10K mark. If the absolute right car came along I'd pull the money from somewhere but I don't fall in love with machines so I won't over pay.

08, Welcome to the Prowl Talk. Most people are fine but, take it from me, stay away from the Mayor (Meancat):bash: & Alley Cat (AC). :Cat:

I'll keep an eye peeled for those two for sure! Thanks for the heads up, but do they know I'll be on the lookout??

Let me fill in a few blanks about me, I see some are not sure if I'm man or woman etc..

I am MAN (insert pound chest, LOL!)

48 yrs old but feel about 28 (at least that’s what my wife tells me I feel like).

1 child, almost 21 months old now, her name is Sydney!!!!!!(She's adopted and the greatest thing I've ever done)

I don't believe in God, but if you do that's fine (ut oh, did I say too much?).

From 10-15 yrs of age my hobby was boating. From 15 up until the age of 38 my hobby was letting women chase me, I let one catch me and then I wound up getting married (in a Church Shhh!).

I still boat, when I have time and am now looking for a car to enjoy and put a big smile on my face, oh and to drop my little darling off at school for her first day! Let those other little peckers eat their heart out!

Some of this is embellished some not, I'll let you figure out which is and which isn't.

We can debate the issue if you'd like but I find most people that have "faith" get touchy on the subject. Part of the problem is all a God fearing people have is the word "Faith" and not proof.

Don't get me wrong, I think the world and the USA is a far better place with those people in it, God and Religion both serve a purpose, just not for me.

I think we are on the same page on this but you are right...........touchy subject that's best left alone. I just found that better bible thing and needed a place to put it lol.
