View Full Version : Chevy HHR - what a joke !
At the Power Tour we passed a couple of times the 'official' GM convoy which also included the "new" HHR .
:vomit:
What a joke that vehicle is - must be the biggest rip off in automotive history IMO .
Not only is GM's retro-styling a total bust, but the resemblence to the PT cruiser is unbelievable.
IMO, too little - too late !
The car got NO excitement whatsoever, I guess they got another 'bust' on their hands !

I saw it at the L.A. Auto Show. I was curious and I guess I was the only one. No one around the car at all, no one. It's got a small 4 banger and I didn't care for it at all. I can not imagine it selling very well at all. IMO

weteyes, the styling pays homage to the original utility vehicle-the 1949 Chevy Suburban. It is built on the same platform as the new Chevy Cobalt . Engine options range from a 2.2-litre, 140 horsepower 4-cylinder to I believe a 170 hp powerplant.
By the way the L.A. Auto Show was the introduction of this vehicle. Not much interest that I saw around the car.
There you go weteyes

I like it, it just needs a bigger motor.
The truck I really liked was the one that looked like a colorado but with a 6.2 liter in it....
Also seen the new Z06 upclose and personal. That thing is bad ass! Totally different. It's wider too! That is a home run for sure!
