TooHip: Didn't know you rent out the Kat for parades  ...but for a good cause (hottie needs a hot car to sit on) that's ok I guess? :burnout

Indications that is not my kat...

*Running chrome rims instead of 97 painted Silvers.

*Doesn't have clear side markers.

Last but not least...

*Paul (Kruizin Kat) said I NEVER take my top down!!!:rll:

Sounds like a great Idea KK seeing as how we just got dumped with 8-10" of the white stuff.

Only problem is...my kat is up on jack stands at the present time with no rear wheels.

Here's a pic I took just before the rear rims were removed for re chroming. Hope you like it.

TooHip...
Where did you take the photo of the Woodward with the FL Panther plates? I saw the pic you posted elsewhere and curious since I know of a few in Fl but can't place that tag.
Thanks!

Dixie...I believe they said the gentleman's name that owns that beautiful Woodward is Jessie.

Glad I can help.

Too bad, your kat would look great sitting on white. And the white side markers set it off. It would be an almost surreal photo. I guess to do it proper, you'd need a light covering of snow where you could drive over, and then use like a shovel to cover up the tire prints. Well something to think about for next year.

One photo I've had in mind is to find a place I can drive mine on the beach (I think St. Augustine is only place I know of) and then get a pic of me punching it with a roostertail of sand out the back. But damn - you know how much work it would be to clean afterwards?

That sounds like a real cool pic KK...but I agree...I think you'll be picking sand out of your undercarriage for a week!

TooHipCat,

Could you please elaborate on getting your rims rechromed?
How bad were they and where did you send them. Cost?

Thanks!

No problem Koko!

Please check out this link which is located in the Supporting Vendors section of ProwlTalk:

DC was kind enough to find these guys...after extensive research I've been told.:tu:
Also thanks to David for allowing them to become a Prowltalk vendor.:tu:

You can wait if you'd like to see how my set of rears turn out. I have all the confidence in the world with Eli so I know they'll turn out just fine.

Brian;-)

P.S.
You can view the pics on the link that
I posted above. I felt the chrome was
starting to flake pretty good...I mean bad.

The final price will be determined on the
overall condition of the rim. Is it out of
round? Is the pitting damage extensive?
