Great time in the UP! No rain there but came home to find we had 3+ inches here last night. Creek is out and had to leave the car at the neighbors up the road! WTF:smflame:. Can't ruin my week it's already been GREAT!

Fabulous week. Great weather, beautiful scenery, cool hotel right on the water, and good times with great friends.

We just got home about 30 mintes ago - 7:30 AM Saturday - 12:30 Am Eastern Time Sunday - long day of traveling but it was worth it. Mr Mayor talked to Mother Nature and pulled off great weathrr for a Prowler event . Lots of interesting things to see and do in the UP! How about those Pasties!:biggrin:

Ditto to everything Marty said. We're home safe and sound after a very long travel day to get back home but worth every minute.

Thanks so much to Gerry, Sno, Freeze and anyone who had a part in this trip. Gerry...as promised you cranked up the weather machine to make it just about perfect (a little warmer at nite would have been good...but I'm not complaining). We returned tonite and at 11 p.m. it was 90 in SA! Whew...heat wave!

I would especially like to thank you, Sno, Freeze and my sweet hubby for making my 60th birthday a memorable one.:banana::banana: :beer: It was just perfect!!! :tu: I love and appreciate our Prowler friends and the only thing that would have made it better would be if some of those who were sorely missed were in attendance.

Also another HUGE thank you to Freeze and Sno for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful new "Stang" to drive while we were there. Words can't express our gratitude, although it was all I could do to keep Marty from using that saw to cut off the top!:rll::rll:

I like the way others are spelling your name now - Gerry. It goes so well with all the other printed things!:devil:rll: How ever you spell anything, thanks for all your efforts planing the UP event. Unless you have been on the planning end, you have no idea of all the details and time it takes, plus dealing with all us crazy Prowler people!! You are now in charge of weather at all future Prowler events - until you screw it up.:wink:

Also, riding at the back of the pack on most of the cruises either just in front or behind your son driving the Camaro - he obviously overcame any driving instructions he learned from you and was much more subdued than I would been as a teenager with a 400 horsepower car!

It rained about every day after the event. Rained all the way home till I got to Ohio. Didn't unpack the car yet, been raining all day. Jerry, you really out did yourself on this one. Gas prices in Ohio are $3.27.

As most people know I do control the weather and world oil prices. I think I will lower the price of gas for the summer so we can enjoy driving our prowlers.

Sorry about the rain Mac that you encountered but it is part of a bigger plan to have it rain all weekend.:rll:
