August 5th to the 11th 2012

August 5th Arrival Day..........

August 6th A Day in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.......... Blue ridge parkway

August 7th A Day at the Biltmore House

August 8th ,,,,,,, shopping in down town Asheville, Hendersonville, I have a Brew tour set up for us, no driving they will take us on a trolley. This day will have many many options for everyone!

August 9th More roads that will make you :vomit: more water falls, Chimney Rock Park and Hendersonville for history and shopping. 6pm cocktail party 7pm dinner and a live auction.... We have coaches to take us down town Asheville and back.

August 10th........ A Day on the worst roads you will ever see,,,, Oliver's in charge
( Hot Springs, Horse back ridding, Water falls, Rafting........... and much more)

Hotel only has 85 rooms and I have 75 set aside for us, would be nice to sell it out and take the whole damn thing. Block will open this August and I will post when you can call in.

The area is amazing - Asheville is a GREAT city - not too large to be a headache getting around but large enough to offer a lot to do (BESIDES sitting in the parking lot :biggrinflip: .... :beer:)


Frosty (the SnoWman) has been working on this since last year - I didn't get it WHY THE F#CK Asheville :rll:UNTIL we got there - really, REALLY cool city and area is fantastic - WELL DONE Frosty :beer:

We're really forward to it Pepe. There are so few Prowler events that are reasonably close to us and trying to schedule them around 3 businesses and constant travel, these ones that are close really help.
Believe it or not, there are 4 to 5 Prowlers in our small town of 10,000 in TN but they never bring them out let alone want to do anything. Hard to believe they own such a fun car and then leave it stored.
Anyway, thanks for the event and we will be there, good Lord willing and schedules mesh.

We just traveled up the BRP this week. Went up to the top of Mt. Mitchell, had dinner at Little Switzerland, Stopped in Boone, ended up in Mt. Airy (Mayberry RFD, Andy Griffiths home town). Had great weather and a never ending feast of twisty roads!!!!

I hope that it's not true but the Wheels Through Time museum is moving. This was it's last year here in NC. Rumor is that he's moving it to AZ.

Kitty. no NHN this year either. Under Brenda's Law, I am required to take her to one football game at Virginia Tech each year. Since I missed two years, we are going to Pitt/Va Tech in Pittsburgh and Corps of Cadets Homecoming in Blacksburg which coincides with NHN. Sometimes ya just gotta take care of the home-front too! It is pretty easy for us to get away for a weekend but anything longer (with my Mother) takes more planning.

I would not be opposed to that at all. It would be great to have more people step up and plan some events, The more the merrier.

As far as new employee's not looking good, still can't find anyone qualified and not looking good. Looks like I may have to miss another event.
