Here's a guide to put some LocTite on the Hardtop Pins:
(Fully credit goes to SkanKat's Dad! :bows :bows :bows )
Step 1:
Do all the adjustments for the hardtop to make sure if fits nice and dainty. Drive around a couple blocks and on the freeway to make sure its not rattling loose. If you had TGF do it, then it should be all set if there's no rattling.
Step 2:
Remove the hardtop and place it on the hardtop stand. Make sure you lock the stand from movement.
Step 3:
Use a permanent marker and mark where the pins meet the hardtop. This is your indicator for putting (how far in) the pin back in after the LocTite has been applied. That way, you don't have to adjust it again.
Step 4:
Pop the linen covers and loosen the nuts. Be careful not to drop it inside the hardtop!
Step 5:
Apply LocTite Blue to pin and tighten the nuts to the indicator mark you made earlier.
Step 6:
Put the plugs back in and you're all set!
