Prowler 10th Anniv PhotoBook SoCal Launch Event

Allo Folks!

Let's do a Launch Event for the Prowler 10th Anniv PhotoBook!

Here's the proposed 20th May 2007 Sunday event:

1. Meet & Greet @ The Rose Bowl, Pasadena 930 am.

2. Cruise thru Old Town along Colorado Blvd (Rose Parade route) 1030 am.

3. Make a lunch stop @ Luigi Ortega's (http://luigiortegas.com/home.html (http://luigiortegas.com/home.html)). The owner, Josh, is a car-guy and digs Prowlers. He's from the local Lotus club and they frequently use the place as a Meet & Greet site due to good parking and food!

4. Distribution and viewing of PhotoBooks! Any copies not reserved will be on sale if available. Local SoCal folks can save on shipping of the books by picking them up @ the Launch Event!

5. Folks can then go check out Old Town Pasadena, or head to the Petersen Automotive Museum.

We can save about $7 (for two books) if we make the trip! Maybe we should really consider it.

Will do! Hopefully TooHip (Brian) gets his wheels in time for the book! That way, you have an excellent 'sample' for the entire Prowler community. :tu:

On another note, I hope to drop off me wheels next Friday, and they will be 'real-life' samples of your work for those attending the event. Can't get better marketing than that! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Just got word from Eli that my wheels will be ready this Friday or next week. :tu: :tu:

Folks who wanna see the final product in person should come to the event (yes, the Black Kat will get a chance to come out and play!). I'll let his final product speak for itself.

In addition, Eli might be at the event to answer any questions related to chroming wheels etc.

Thanks Mrs Pumpkin! You folks must visit us folks in SoCal someday...we know Norm can't wait to attend one of those Hot Import Nights with his S2000 :mrgreen:

We might do a little e-brochure (so that folks with color printers can just print their own copies) that talks about the photobook/book launch...might make be a decent little companion to the book :rolleyes:

Just checked in with Josh of Luigi's and we've got reserved parking front and back of the restaurant! We have only reserved spots for those who are picking up the reserved books; and for those that have called me or emailed SkanKat (skankat@gmail.com)

Let's hope we can get some good photos for use in the next project!

Wish Cathi and I could make it, but our daughter is graduating Saturday from college (finally) and we are hosting a party for the big event.

Sounds like a fun time will be had along with good weather. And congrats on a succesfull project.
