A $275,000 Lamborghini was totaled and the driver arrested for drunken driving after the sports car smashed into five parked cars on Thursday, police said.
Witnesses said the 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago may have been doing 75 mph when the driver lost control at about 2:30 a.m., police Lt. Alex Padilla said.
The driver and passenger were treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
David August Johnson, 26, of Santa Monica was booked for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol and released on bail, Padilla said.
No one else was hurt.
"The Lamborghini was totaled," Padilla said, estimating its value at $275,000.
Two of the parked cars had major damage, two had moderate and one had minor damage, he added.
