Hello, just bought my prowler but won't be able to pick her up for another week or two depending on weather. (it's killing me).

So what do you recommend, I am looking for ideas to personalize the car and maybe make some performance upgrades. What works, where or who is the best place to go or buy the mods......looking for advice.

What should I look out for, any reccomendations are welcome.

Dave, you came to the right place but you have to do a bit of work to answer all your questions. You can check out the Prowler garage forum which we started not to long ago. Here is a thread that has some info.

Check out member galleries for things they have done. Just start doing it and we will help you as you go. There is some small and easy stuff and large expensive stuff. It's very personal. Does your car have any mods done or is it bone stock?

Thanks for all the friendly welcomes. I am waiting to pick up the new toy. The weather has been horrible and I don't want my maiden voyage to be in a storm.

It is a 2000 yellow. Miles were a little higher than I liked at 27k but the price was right.

27K mile cat,,,,,,,that is low mileage. You don't want a virgin. Too tight and she might tell on ya!

Don't worry about rain,,,,these cars don't leak!

Yellow. Good color. Had one as a daily driver, loved it, although so did the bugs.

Not too worried about leaks, I am 6' 7" (hence bid Dave) let's just say driving with the top up will be limited to emergencies if I can help it. Plus why ruin a perfectly good wax job on day one.
