Fellow FL Kat Packers,

Well the spring is finally on its way. We have come up 2 events for the spring and hope that one or both may get your attention. We keep trying to do something a bit different each time and we think you’ll see we have. I know the dates may not coincide with your schedules and we’re sorry about that. We hope that you can make one of the events. If not, we’ll see you next time.

PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO WE CAN MAKE ALL THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS. FLKATPACK@CFL.RR.COM

After that stop we will travel on to St. Augustine for the evening and possibly another quick stop on the way outside Palatka if time permits. Lodging will be forthcoming when I have a firm commitment from the attendees.

Macon/Biloxi/New Orleans Event: May 19-22, 2011

A new event. We will meet in Ocala at the Cracker Barrel next to I-75 on Thursday morning, TBA. From there we will drive north to Warner Robin Air Force Museum (http://www.museumofaviation.org/ )just outside of Macon, GA

2nd annual “Jim Warner Cruise”

We have group booked rooms at the below hotel in St Augustine. Please make your reservations a soon as possible. The cut-off is April 5th. The rate is $82.30 plus taxes for the night April 16th for a King Bed. If you have AARP or AAA, you can get a reduced rate for 2 doubles. The hotel is the Wingate at I-95 and SR 16 in St Augustine.

Call them at: 904-824-9229 to reserve the room. USE FPG as the CODE! Do not use the website as we need at least 7 rooms for the group rate under the FPG code!!!!

We will all meet at the Yalaha Bakery between 8 and 8:30 on Saturday the 16th. Info and itinerary on this event has been already sent to you. If you need it re-sent, please ask me to send it again. This again should be a very interesting cruise event and I’m looking forward to it as I hope you are.

Those of you that are coming from a farther distance and need lodging close to the Bakery, will have to make your own arrangements as we will not have enough rooms to get a group rate. Most of us live within an hour or so and will be driving to the Bakery in the morning of the 16th.

See you all very soon.
