I have a new blue Kat and would like to eventually remove the front bumpers and install the after market covers.
1. How hard is that to do?
2. Who has the best covers?
Thanks!

To remove the bumpers is not hard. Front is easy, just one tricky bolt. Back straight forward no real problem.
A few after market vedors on the covers. All are great.

Its a fairly easy process to remove the bumpers.. four bolts on each bumper, a couple of them are hard to get to and there is some that will tell you that you will need a stubby ratchet. I did mine without it, just used a box end wrench and some patience. it took me about45 minutes to get both sides off.
I have the Tom Mills kit and like it a lot. It was very simple to install and Tom will send it to you painted your color. the Carlini design is cool and looks more like the headlights, some tell me that it is a bastard to install.
I hope this info is usefull to you....good luck !

One tip on removing the bumpers. Take the three easy bolts out first and then rotate the bumper to make access to the last one easier.
I have a set of one-off fiberglass covers with my directionals behind the grill.
My favorite mod ever.
Some day I want to do a set of louvered side panels and maybe the hood too!

I have the Tom Mills kit on my kat. Bumper removal was really easy except for one bolt on each side. I also removed the grille just to make access to the area easier. Which cover you go with is really just a personal preference. They are all good products.
