Maybe we can have a beautifully covered tree by the end of the year.

One of us (name not mentioned) made a grave mathematical error at Deadwood and left PT Brooke. Actually I think the hotel screwed the poor guy but we lost about $1500 on the dinner, pisses me off to no end. Please remember if you're going to sign a contract read the fine print!

Plus a setup fee that was not in the contract but was on the menu :smflame: All I (he) saw was the price per meal the fine print was on a totally different page? (WTF I ask) It's done with now and we survived, No way could I ask for $20 a couple to fix my (his) screw up :mad:

Last year we did this Holiday Tree post and we believed it was successful adding a few more dollars to the operating fund and the intent was to capture the holiday spirit of giving and to recognize those folks that did at the end of the year.

We decided (Norm & Pat) that we would do it again this year but a little sooner, thereby maybe getting a few more people to donate.

I (Pat) thought it would be a nice idea to recognize the folks that not only donate $ but also their time, i.e. Administrator, Moderator, and other support staff, so I came up with the idea of the ANGELS.

Also to clarify this is not Norm & Pat's tree, it is ProwlTalk's Holiday Tree, we are only the ones who are updating the graphic. The names of those who donate are only known to us after being notified by the Administrator and we update based on that info.

BOTTOM LINE: This was to be a fun project for us during the holidays and our way of giving some of our time to the site, but now it is taking on a different meaning, certainly more controversial than necessary.

We will be happy to remove it if asked to!
