Looks too much like a rice racer with the color and ground effects.

WINTERLINGEN, Germany — Lumma Design, which earlier breathed some additional fire into the BMW M6 (http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/ViewModelDetail/make=BMW/model=M6), has turned back to the high-performance M5 (http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/ViewModelDetail/make=BMW/model=M5)sedan, further enhancing the car's already frisky performance while dressing up its exterior.

The new CLR500 RS sedan is a companion piece to the tuning house's CLR600 coupe. Modifications to the car's 5.0-liter V10 engine, including a reprogrammed ECU and a high-performance exhaust system, has boosted output to 560 horsepower, enabling a top speed of 199 mph.

Lumma has fitted 21-inch wheels and low-profile Yokohama rubber, including 255/30R21s in front and 295/25R21s in the rear. The upgraded suspension features bits from Eibach and H&R, and the entire car has been lowered 1.6 inches in the process.

The aero body kit includes front and rear aprons, flared fenders and side skirts, plus a carbon-fiber roof, hood and deck lid.

What this means to you: Save your money. The stock M5 is darn good enough.
