I am ordering a set of aftermarket wheels and tires today and it appears that the OEM sensors will not fit. I need to know if anyone knows how to disconnect the chime for the low pressure sensors. The light is an easy fix but the chime will sound if not disconnected.
any ideas ?

Jimbo: No fix needed for the chime. Once the sensors are removed, even though the light stays on there will be no warning chime.

I have been using the black tape fix for over two years now, you can't even tell its there.

1. Remove the top of the dash.
2. Look behind the tachometer for a black box.
3. Unclip the blue connector going into the top.
4. Optional: To remove the bulb, locate the 2nd bulb from the left.
5. Done.

Are there other options for low tire sensors that would work? I do like the feature of knowing I've lost air pressure.
