Crazy Horse is a HUGE disappointment. They have been working on that thing for over 60 years and nothing is being accomplished. I think it is only a money making venture now. No desire to finish it. With todays technology they should be way down the road to completion. they are too interested in building schools on the campus. So sad for the Indians.......being screwed by the white man again!!

So this is why there was only a handful of Kats seen cruising Woodward last week. Great turn out and pics of country side. Love little roadside burger joints. Hope A/C gets back home soon as I miss all the XXX emails. LOL

They have photos from every year and compared side by side you can see the amount of progress being made (although your right it does not look like it). This thing is massive, the four heads from Mount Rushmore would fit on Crazy Horses' head and headdress. They are removing massive amounts of rock before additional carving can be done. The hole through the monument is 10 stories high. :eek2:

This is also a strictly private enterprise, no government funds have been taken, as the people involved in the project figured if the government was involved it would never get finished.

we saw this 11 years ago,,and when we first approached the Crazy Horse,, it did not look like any progress had been made,,, but then after being there I could see that it was further developed,,,,
