I have had a few requests for the 18 month Prowltalk calendar we had produced, but have rejected the idea of producing any more of these as I wanted to remain true to the original commitment we had of keeping these a very limited item.

I would like to get a feel from you members if there is any interest in producing a 12 month Calendar starting in March or April with all hi quality pictures of Prowlers. These will be members cars and will be chosen by me from the photos submitted from the last project. None of the pictures that were in the original calendar will be on this project and photo submissions will not be required.

We will need to sell at least 50 of these to get the 50% discount. The total sell price around $19.00/each with $3 from each calendar going to the site to cover all these new improvements....

This is just in the preliminary planning stage right now... but if there is interest we will move on it quickly...

What do you guys think ?

The twelve month calendar would then overlap the 18 month calendar if I understand you correctly. If the calendar would have different pictures than the current one, I guess I could understand it. But from a purely functional standpoint, it would offer nothing more than the current calendar offers. Would it make sense to produce the twelve month calendar just to fulfill more orders? I am on the fence on this one. That said, I would probably buy one anyway!

Dave,

we are not going to use the same photos as the 18 month... we have tons of picture on hand that we can use for the 12 month ..Jim just wants to keep to his word of not making anymore if the 18 months calendar ...

Have to concur with MoparDave. IMHO, if its a limited run, its a limited run. For folks who miss out, its just too bad, jump in on the initial run when you can. Otherwise, wait for the next calendar and not make the miss the boat again.

folks who want an original calendar, can always post on the Classified here, someone else might have an extra lying around. Again, just my 0.02.
p.s. I am never into 'lite' versions of anything anyways..hahah

good point Dave....

I think this would be more for the folks who never got a chance to get one of the originals..... Myself, I only ended up with one of the 18 month calendars.

I would buy a 12 month one to have at the office..

I missed the 18 month calendar due to my surgery, but thanks to someone here I was able to get one. So it may sound a little short-sighted of me to say I don't understand a 12 month run. Since I have all my calendars bought for 2007, I would be buying one just to help with the minimum quantity.

just a side note here.....

this is offered to give all the new members to get a calendar with Prowlers on it. We have had 40 or 50 sign ups since the original 18 month Calendars sold out.
I would never expect anyone who bought the original edition to purchase this new one and no one should feel obligated to do so....We don't want to come off like we have our hand out...$3 per calendar to the site doesn't not even come close to paying for all the time and effort invested in getting this product ordered, paid for, shipped, re-packaged and delivered back to the post office to be mailed out to the members.

The support that all the original purchasers gave us for the 18 month project was greatly appreciated.... you guys made it work and work well...

This is for all the newbies.....

If you don't get enough to meet the minimum order, I would be glad to buy one to help out the quota.

I second that ......... limited is limited and IF YOU REALLY want one, post a wanted thread in the Classified ...... I KNOW there are some 'additional ones' OUT there :tu:

David....

It sounds as though the guys that already have a Calendar are happy...unless some newcommers speak up, we will have to kill this idea.

We could take submissions from those that were not in the last one, start from scratch....

so lets hear it...

Are there any newbies or people that did not have a photo in the original want to participate in a new project...????

I just put an extra, never used 18 month Prowler calendar up for bid in the For Sale section. All proceeds will go to Prowltalk.

I guess this is a no go......

look for another Calendar project in about a year when our current 18 month ones expire.

Thanks for all the replys...
