Years ago on the (other) list we had a chat room. It was I believe every Wed/sat. It was rather busy and a lot of info was generated. Is it hard to create and is there any interest on this subject by other PT folks.Lets hear some chatter on this. Or do we have it now:?::?::?::?:

I've hosted them over on MSN when they were around. My question
is would members only be able to access the room or could anyone
just pop in?

Definition of a chat room:
Online chat is a way of communicating by sending text messages to people in the same chat-room in real-time.

There were actually two chat rooms in the old days. One was where you could actually talk, but people got cut off and it was expensive from what I remember. The second was a real time text chat. It lasted for a long time, but the useage went down over time and it was discontinued.
IMO "chat rooms" are kinda outdated - I can see why POA had a "chat room" because of the slow and outdated forum software of theirs took forever to make posts etc. but nowadays with the new(er) Forum software it's kinda like being in a chat room like some have already sugggested ........... also some folks hang out on Facebook ... another way to "communicate"
I'm not 'against' it just thinking that a "Chat room" is kinda obsolete :-? nowadays ?!
