I have noticed several Prowlers with the "Plymonth" "Prowler" inset in the rear bumpers painted to match the car color. Is there a specific way to acomplish this? Or, is there a kit??

hey Tom,
There was a product available called Shimmers that was a kit. These inserts came ready to stick in the inset letters on the bumper. Sadly, Jay Harris has retired and this product is no longer available. I have the chrome set for mine and really like the look. There are some of the owners that have had good results using paint in these inset letters.
Maybe someone that has done this will speak up with a few tips for you.

Tom, not only did we paint the bumper inserts, we painted the plenum lettering. We cleaned it really good and on the plenum we used yellow paint from testors (model paint). On the bumpers we used the touch up paint from the dealer (orange). We applied two coats or more.
This is the master painting the plenum.
