Katmat , my dis like for baseball came when the had the strike and walked out of the World Series , by the time the strike was finished they basically went on strike for nothing , 100 million dollars is not enough to live on , REALLY , so lets strike JMO

Brazil has got the favoritr going it the tournament. Even though the USA team plays England today and England is probably the #3 team right now, the USA has a great channce of movin gto the next round - they should end up 2nd in their bracket. Will be wathcing today with about 50 others at a sports bar prior to leaving for the church for my son's wedding. I hope I don't spill beer of pizza sauce on my tux!

#1 (or 2 depending on who you listen to) Spain got beat by Switzerland today. How did that happen??? I still think it's Brazil's tourney to lose!

It was AWESOME that the Swiss beat Spain :devil

As for Brazil, they ARE the team to beat for sure but quite frankly, their defense looked VERY iffy so it will be interesting to see how they will do against a 'real' opponent

Did anybody catch the story about the North Korean fans ?
The commentators said that they're paid actors from China - paid to act and look like North Korean Soccer fans :rll:

Saw some of that game also including the goal. I would say by the number of Brazil shots on goal the Swiss got lucky. But a win is a win so congrats to the Swiss.
