I went with GT Factory doors. I heard lots of talk about bolt-on kits and was what I wanted. But also the balance of the door is sooo important. Those that have sat in my car and used the doors know they are balance perfect - you can bring them up or down with the tension of one finger.
I asked that they be reversable and then I left the country for a week, when I got back, the guy said - Good thing you weren't here to watch, and hope you like them - cause they won't go back easily.
I note that my GT doors go much higher than the vertical door kit does. I'll post some pics when I get a lil time. I actually want to do a video showing how easy the doors open and close.

Thanks for bumping this thread. I hadn't seen it and it's possibly one of the mods that I want to do to my car when I get it.
So Krzy Kat? Where's the video? 8-)
Also, as you may know, these doors dont open directly vertically like Lamborghinis; you have to open them horizontally a bit, and then pull up. Do they all open horizontally the same amount? I'd be interested in some that open the least.
The more often I see the Lambo doors the better I like 'em on the Kat
(just don't tell my wife please !! )

Glad you all enjoy it. I can't emphasize enough how important I think it is IMO that the person you choose for the install be accomplished at Lambo installs. I have seen kits where the user practically had to hang on the door to close them.
I know they say that they're not really made for a daily driver, but I think my install is good enough that I could if I wanted.

Well there goes my idea....I plan on using the Prowler as a daily driver :cry2:

Way TOO MUCH yellow for my taste.. I'd remove 80% of the yellow and chrome interior trim and just add a Prowler Yellow Steering Wheel.
..... see the similarities with the school busses ?!

Love the look but none with the hood open at the same time. That would be a killer for me. If anyone does it, see if you can open the hood with the LS struts. I would be very interested to see that.
