I got one just like that. I had it done about 4-5 years ago. I don't think that they do this anymore..... I could be wrong..:?:

Seems like they'd be using that process that Halicat was investigating, as I assume they're taking your plastic grill and then putting a process on it to add chrome.

I think that is where my grille came from. But I bought it from WildCat at Woodward three years ago. It is holding up fine so far.

DC - FYI,,,Custom Coatings did good work on the first grills sent him many years back,,,,,but as time went on, about half of the owners using them complained of unacceptable work.

looks like i'll have to start looking for a grill now....:-D
I just got an email back from these guys... heres what they said:
Hi Jim,
Yes, we not only chromed the grill but we did most of the interior pieces as
well. I think the grill costs around $250.
Turnaround time is about six weeks!
Thanks,

Cool :) if you chat with them, I'd be curious about price of chromed plenum.

That is a really good price for the grill.
I like the chrome plenum idea too. I wouldn't mind doing it too if it's reasonable in price. The headlight covers under the hood and the radiator support too!
Hide the Credit Cards and the check book, I think Jim's sickness may be spreading, lol.

you are getting PMF...
" Prowler Mod Fever "
No worries, its not fatal...
as long as you are the one getting the mail first ...
if someone else gets the mail before you, complications could set in...8-)
The only cure is lots of Prowlin...because other than gas, its hard to spend anything when your driving....
