With all these games in the last few weeks, I don't think anythings over til it's over. It's been a good one so far....it'll be interesting to see what happens in the 2nd half.

I should add this ~ the stadium is really absolutely awesome. I can't tell from the tv, whether the roof is open or closed tonight. But the place is just overwhelming. I've been to several games there this season - now that they have their goofy sound system fixed, the noise has to be deafening. On the news this morning, they were already telling people to allow hours to arrive for the game; the parking gates opened at 9:00am. Geez, for those who arrived at noon, that's a lot of beer.

Well then it looks like we're rooting for the same team.........

I was totally shocked. I thought we had a chance, but to blow them out like that ... never dreamed that part. Leak and the offense saved their best 2 games for the last 2. Against Georgia and Florida state we had problems putting points on the board, but not tonight. Leak, and the coaching staff put together a perfect game plan. And don't forget their first play, or it would have been that much uglier for them.

It was a great game and a REAL shocker!

OSU stunk the place up. Outplayed, outcoached, and outwitted. Showed me nothing,,,,,,doubt I'd even rank them #2 after that game.
Good, old fashioned, ass whooping by the Gators.

Deb - the roof was closed,,,,but they said all afternoon that it would be open. Go figure...

Ohio State looked terrible. So now we have #1 and #2 Ohio State and Michigan outscored in their respective bowl games 73 to 32. What happened to the once powerful BIG 10?

Boise State should be playing Florida to determine a true National Champion!

Last year in the college basketball finals little George Mason beat up the UCONN Huskies. No one expected that to happen but they played the game to see who would win. Same should be done in football; play the game.

I guess the polls will be #1 Florida and #2 Boise State.

hey AC ~ the roof was supposedly open at the beginning of the game because there was a fly over in the opening ceremonies. I had heard on the news that they'd close the roof by halftime but there was no mention of it, open or closed, during the game. I think I heard that it doesn't take as long to close the roof on the new stadium as roof at Chase Field. Roof has been closed at the 3 games I attended. Who knows. Either way, it's still a cool place and what a way to get Glendale on the map. ha! Who'd a thunk it? Glendale? Now the supposed new Scottsdale. Unreal.

Anyway, yes it really was an unbelievable game. I have to admit that I've never really paid a lot of attention to college ball....only the pros. Watched a little last year and much more this year....I see where college football is MUCH more exciting than the pros. And yes, the darn kids look a lot better too! LOL.....joke. sort of. Really, they play with such enthusiasm.....this game was the icing. :tu:

:-P :devil :rll:
