We woke up to another pretty bright day, the weather person said we might have some wet weather overnight and the possibility of that white stuff, but that rarely happens (the forecast being correct and/or snow in the desert). We had some just before Christmas and again today. Not good, everything closes down.
What happened to Global Warming ? ? ? ?

Global warming has moved to Florida. It has been in the 70's - 80's every day this winter. Haven't had the heater on yet this winter, and only a short spell (like 1 week) that we had the A/C off (that means it got cold all the way down to like the 60's. Great golf and prowlin weather we've been having :banana:

Okay, now it is two hours later . . . . . no snow, sunny and roads clear. On our way out. Winter is done ? ? ?
By the way, the mountains are only 10 miles from the house and it got less snow than we did, but usually it gets snow when we don't :-D

Norm and Pat - I have seen snow here in the Phx area about four times in the past 30 years,,,,,and usually is gone within hours. One thing about it,,,,we don't need snow shovels or blowers! The East is talking smack now about their warm weather,,,,but we know what is in store for them.
Norm,,,get that puzzle done, and tell Pat she can take down the x-mas tree soon, lol.

AC, last year I only started the snow blower twice and this year not at all. Its already January so there can only be a month left for heavy snow. This is a good year for us.

Looks beautiful with the snow. Norm, you better head over to Cloudcroft to get a little skiing in before it melts.

Good idea, the snow in Cloudcroft will stay a little while longer, nice area. Around 80 miles from the house.

The beauty of Las Cruces!
When I moved to Mesa in '75,,the pop. was 59K. Today 450K. Phx was about 750K,,,,now the whole metro area is 4.2M souls. If I was ever to move again,,,,,,Boulder City,Nv or Las Cruces, NM would be my first choices. Norm,,,,need a brother?
