I was wondering if there was any interest on a hi-res 20" x 30" photo of any of the calendar kats ? they wouldn't have to be of your own car, one of the calendar shots would be easy to do as they are already on file at Shutterfly.

Shutterfly will make them up for $23 each plus shipping, we could add a small donation to the site and keep the total price around $30. I would assume that these would be suitable for framing....

They have discounts available and free shipping from time to time so we could save a few bucks.

Ideas ? opinions ?

remember, we need to keep it simple as not to be a burden on anyone.

I'm thinking of getting one of yours and one of the Tangelo Kat for my office....

last week they had 30% off for orders over $75

If they do that again, let me know. I might be in for one or two. My brother-in-law has a purple 97 and I know there was one in the calendar, that would be great for him to have for his office. Oh - and i have a picture of his prowler with his parents with a german WWII plane in the background that I guarantee he'd buy to send to them. So I'd be good for 3 if you decide to do it.

Jim, if you could kindly ask them what size the images should be for the best clarity also. IE - 3 MP will work, 5 is better, 7 rocks. something like that.

Yeah, 20" X 30" for $13 ... I bet you'd get probably 50 pics anyhow out of this group at that price.

update:

I am looking at purchasing a wideformat printer that will allow me to print 24" wide prints with extreme clarity. This printer is over $1000, but will alow me to design and print Calendars that are as good or better quality than the ones we had on our recent calendar project. It will also print on painting canvas quality paper. With the right software I will be able to take photographs, convert them to watercolor or oil paint style and print them on the canvas. I have seen a sample of this and you cannot tell the difference between this print and an actual water color painting.

I should have more info regarding this later this week.

the estimated cost for a 20" x 30" is $4/ea....
