Has any of you guys heard what the prices are going to be for the new Challenger ?
I was speaking to a friend last week that tells me he has put a deposit on one that will be $48,000 Canadian........... with every option available.
That would be around $32,000 US Funds....

My dealer is telling me to figure around $38,000.00 out the door with title, taxes and license fees.

Well, it sounds like the dealers are talking in the same price range.

I think it might have the same PT Cruiser/new model Ford Mustang release syndrome...dealer markups or MSRP for the first 6 months..then prices will drop.

Unfortunatly these prices will exclude me from buying one....
I was hoping they would be available for around what a new Mustang goes for...

I bought my Prowler for list and my Dealer will give me a Challenger for list also. I just have to decide if I want to spend the money for one. The jury is still out on this one. I may wait see if the rumors about a convertible in the second year are true or not before I decide.

If its a hardtop-convertible..I would say...WAIT.
Have everyone noticed? Ragtops might be going the way of the do-do...even the most popular ragtop roadster (Miata) is now offered as a hardtop convertible..
add to the list of hardtop convertibles:
G6
VW (don't remember model)
BMW 3 series
Volvo C90
etc etc

I hear ya Dave.....
I don't know if I could do it....
Pretty tempting to hold off for a couple more years, when all the vehicles are paid for, then go for a Viper...or a second Prowler....
It wouldn't be such a hard decision if the Challenger was 15 G cheaper....

Before I Put Any Money Down I'd Have To See The Finished Product.
