Hi Dusti
Not much to report, I just "hate" to sand and get things ready to paint.
Still got 2 parts to get ready to prime, the nose and one rear fender.
In 2 to 3 weeks I should be painting.
Got some of it trimed out.
Also doing a litle fitting.

Hey Eddie,
Is that the Tom Mills Rear Panel ? I have the bumperless one in transit right now....
your Kat is going to look sweet........:tu:
Piddler

Yep, this one is Tom Mills for the bumpers.
Going to put the rear bumpers on this one and they will be the same color of the car.
Got the TGF bumperless on the Candy.

I flip flopped between "bumpers, and no bumpers" so many times...
are you getting the rear mudflaps painted as well ? What about the engine compartment ? any plans there ?
Some black chrome Shimmers would look super on those painted pumpers...

Sweeeet Eddie,
let me know when you get to the 'closing stages' and I swing by to
inspect your work :devil

I wanted them but didn't think you could get the Shimmers any more,
can they still be got.
Where-Who?
I agree the black chrome would look good.
Also, was thinking on leaving the flaps black, may have to wait and see what it looks like.

My understanding after many requests is that the Shimmers cannot be purchased anymore...
You may have to hand paint the lettering on the bumpers to get a similar look....
sooner or later someone will resurect the product...

Ed sent me a meesage that he was in the hospital because he had multiple heart attacks and was told that they brought him back by using the defib on him. He thought they might let him home this past weekend. Hopefully he is home resting comfortably and will get well soon.

Hay guys and gals, THANKS, for your thoughts.
Seems you never know what is going to happen next.
It was a heck of a trip, I "WAS" in the tunnel and moving to the light.
Sure was glad they had the electrical line laying close.
It was something else to have gone where I did.
Beleave me, "Its Real".
I had been the picture of health, a dare-devil all my life an never thought I could die.
First time I have ever had more than a cold, I didn't even have a DR.
I have 2 good DR friends now that tell me how lucky I am every time they came in my room.
I have felt "OK" since they let me out of the hospital.
Went to there office yesterday and they said I looked good, I ask about going back to work, said I could go back next week, going in Wednesday on the 3rd for the rest of the week (I can get a little nap on 3rd if needed).
Now to the Prowler thing, no I hadn't been in bed, been working on the pearl kat.
Got a lot of progress, not as much as I want, but did make progress.
This thing is looking "licking good".
Should have pictures of it Monday or Tuesday if I don't use up another one of my lives before then.
Thanks again,
Piddler, Eddie, The cat with 8 lives left, I HOPE.
:burnout
Hey Eddie,
glad to hear you're doing better - you REALLY got us worried there
and I'm sure you worried the crap outta your family !
Take it easy for a bit to get REALLY well - I'm sure the plant will
manage for a few more days without you there ;-)

I'm so glad to hear you're still with us, Eddie. That must have been scary as hell! Take it easy. Don't push too hard . . and makke sure you've got a GOOD respirator when you're painting. The stuff in auto paints today can fry your lungs and ultimately affect your heart as well.
