I'm in need of a new cover for the kat.
I have one of the generic covers with mirror pockets, it fit ok but was damaged during attempting to clean it (should have used NO heat to dry it ). I would like to replace it but have no idea who makes this cover.
I would like input on what you all use.
Plus, I was wondering if anyone here knows the original manufacturer is for the OEM cover. I would rather not go through the POA if I go this route. (It would be nice to have the trailer cover too.)

There is a cover shown at The Prowler Store which is not affiliated with POA if this helps (on page 5):

Jim, I had my wife wash it which went fine but when it came to drying it I said to her that I didn't think low heat would be a problem, I was wrong and it melted. Should have either hung it out to dry or used the no heat setting.
It didn't have any care tags.
I have it on my kat now but it looks like crap. luckily it is melted where it contacts the windshield and top.
Dave, The Prowler Store is more $$ than the POA store.
This would be another item to add to the future Prowltalk store!?

You missed the big sale at Costco last month >>>> $150 custom fit cover for $89. I bought two>>>perfect fit, water resist,,,,,
You can wash most any car cover,,,,but don't dry in dryer!
Air dry 'em,,,,or put on spin cycle in washer.

Sno,
I just checked moparpart site and they do not list a cover for the Prowler. Must not be a big seller?
Thanks.

Hey Paul!!!
If you wait till I get home I can check my receipts. I think I got mine at VIP autoparts. It's made by Kimberly Clark and I believe it's a Technalon IV. If I remember correctly it cost me about $175. It's very thick but soft to the touch on the inside. It even comes equipped with side mirror pockets but NO Prowler logo. Very high quality!!!:tu:
If I find the receipt, I will reply again when I get home. Probably won't be until about 9:00 P.M. tonight though. Sorry!

Yeller Cat uses the factory OEM car cover & trailer cover that has the logo stitched in the original purple that we purchased just after we got the car in 2000 thru a local dealer parts department. It fits & works well.
If anyone is looking for a trailer cover, please email me as I think??we have an extra one along with a set of wheel spacers that were unearthed on our recent move that I will sell.
Thanks.

Paul: I believe Jay Harris has trailer cover, I am sure Dixie cat knows. I have 2 car covers from Cover Craft, through California Car Cover Co. at www.calcover.com (http://www.calcover.com) Very happy with them, of course I havent washed one for 2 years. :) Jim
