Another Southern Arizona treasure. A rare 1972 Ford Ranchero GT. Rare because its equipped form the factory, with a powerful 429 V-8. Also equipped with factory air conditioning.

This would be fun also.

1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator
A highly documented, well preserved and cared for, un- restored, no rust, Texas-Arizona, 44,500 true and actual miles, highly optioned 428 Cobra jet Ram Air Cougar.
Full owner history, two Marti reports showing that it is a one of one eliminator with its options, two dealer invoices, two build sheets, two original owner warranty cards, original owners manual with original owners and dealer names inside, plus the original sterosonic 8-track tape system operating instruction Manuel included.
Options Include: 428 CJ Ram Air Engine, C-6 Transmission, Eliminator Package, Traction-Lock Differential, F 70X14 Traction Tires, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Whisperaire Air Conditioner, High Back Bucket Seats, Console, Power Windows, H000 Pins, AM/8-Track Tape Stereo Radio, Décor Group, Tinted Glass, Remote Left Hand Racing Mirror, Color Keyed Floor Mats.
Car retains its original engine, transmission, rear end, exhaust system, smog system (pump only was replaced with a correct unit) air conditioner, carburetor, distribution, upholstery carpet, gauges, radio, running car floor mats, etc, etc.
This Eliminator starts, runs, rides, stops, corners excellent and has never over heated on me even in hot Arizona summers. Have driven the eliminator 1200 miles in the last two years and it is a real blast to drive.
I have only done work on this Eliminator that was necessary to make keep it road worthy. This includes clean up and touch up where needed and resealing and leaks that were found. Also went thru the brake and suspension system. Original hood was replaced in early seventy's by Ford dealership along with a partial or fuel repaint (unknown for sure), and I had to replace the windshield (crack) and the headliner.
Included with the purchase are all the documents, previous registrations, receipts, Etc. that I have. Also if new owner desires he can pick up from me any and all of the original service parts that I had to change out on the Eliminator plus the parts that I have acquired for a future restoration.

I don't know what I'd do with it but I've wanted one of those "King Midget's" shown on the last page since I was a kid. :tu:
