PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW)
Supposedly this was checked out and found to be true.


If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from
An ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.

For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes
That your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine.

The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber,
The police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

This information was recently broadcast on TV and it states that it is seldom used
Because people don't know it exists.

Please pass this along to everyone possible.

Hey Rick, This idea was patented . . .but, unfortunately, it was rejected by the banking community and is not in operation today. Here's the story on Snopes:

Honestly, I think is a great idea also. We had someone here in WPB that was robbed like a week ago at 2am after a bar and made to to go his ATM and withdraw money. I sure hope that never happens to me cause I never use the ATM and I don't even know my pin #, not sure a robber would believe me and might get a bullet in my ass.

I used to do that too Rick until all the so called internet crap that I used to post kept on getting Snoped.

That's why everything that I post I usually check it on Snopes first.

Ya know, that all sounds good to some, but my PIN starts and ends with the same number so I would be in the slammer all the time !!!!!
