this car on the lot in Canada in 99 was $64,000...without the trailer
It seems to me that the US prices were $45,000... without the trailer...
I'm thinking a collector like AC will pick this one up and just throw buckets of cash at it...lol
or perhaps go overseas....

Paul, NO RESERVE, for everything at Scottsdale this coming January. Same last year with Barrett-Jackson. This is going on the block the thursday evening and should get some spirited bidding as the big $ guys aren't there throwing their money around. So the bargain hunters will run it up. Jim, the final listed sell will include B-J's 8% buyer fee. Just so U are aware.

I forgot about the 8%.....
ok...
lets say we can change our bid up untill Wednesday midnight..the day before it goes on the block, then no more changes in our bids will be allowed...
the final price will include the 8%..

wow, no reserves? Isn't that uncommon in the high $$ auctions. Some good buys may be had.

sometimes you get more money on no-reserve. People know it will definately sell, so they start to bid low and when it starts to pick up steam, they get wrapped up in the bidding frenzy.

Since B-J has titled the car and trailer,,,,,how can it be new?
The car probably had a in-service date when it left the first dealership,,,even with the MSO going with it to the first buyer. I'd say,,,,its a 1999 cat and trailer,,,period. How many miles on it? I didn't see that?
Only foreign bidders will take it up high. U.S. bidders will figure the car @ 30k and the trailer about 5k,,,,if the miles on the car are below 1,000.
Wonder why B-J titled the car? Doesn't sound right,,,,but what do I know? I know Jack Schitt.........

Also at the B-J auction this year,,,,,Lot #681 1999 purple Plymouth Prowler >>> 130 actual miles. Don't know what day it'll be going through the ring?

BLEW YOU - I'm looking at the Barrett-Jackson 'SNEAK PEEK' magazine I picked up today,,,,,,,it's showing a picture of a purple cat and no trailer.
???
Since the lot # is the same,,,,,,let's say you are right,,and the magazine picture [from B-J] is wrong! I stand corrected.
When my ears are pulled on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I come up for air!
:D
Merry Christmas!

Well, at least we got the oxygen figured out. LOL I saw this one on the B-J website, under Plymouth. They sent me an E-mail about it as I have been asking them to notify me when they get a Prowler to auction. Jim

The Prowler with trailer is set for auction Thursday night, but, the Speed Channel coverage begins at 5 PM EDT. Do not know what time it will hit the stage. Coverage on Speed tonight at 7 PM. Last night actually had cars in a range we could afford. Nice 1950's, 1960's and 70's classics, big block Mopars, GM's and even Blue Ovals. :nana2

I think we pretty accurately guessed the price. I think the cars are slowly creeping up in value. 18% fee though ..... DAMN .. anyone ever know how much they make on one show ? I mean lots of cars go for 1,000,000 that's 180,000 for one car.
