Would someone explain to me why they want to reduce medicare an give it to medicaid. We pay for medicare now and medicaid is free. So if we reduce medicare that monies could go to more people and they in return can smoke more and drink more beer REDUCE MEDICAID AND THOSE WHO ARE GETTING IT NOW SHOULD PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE.

The cuts are in benefits, not in money. Physicians are scheduled for an off the top 21.3% cut in reimbusement starting in january. We have already stopped taking medicare patients.
