membership dues????

Well this is going to start something ... (i hope positive)

I propose anual dues to be a member here
Most other forums are that way and I would not expect the new owners to put up the funds for me to enjoy this site and the friends and the cars and all the invaluable time we have together.

How much $$ ?

I believe any donations would be appreciated, they just don't want to set up a paid membership system. jmo

BINGO...... it is one thing to support the site if you want to..then go head no need to make a big deal about it... unless one has a need for "attention" ...that is another to suggest for EVRYONEY to pay........

Also I must say that starting a PAID membership thread on a site such as PT that always been free and that just had ownership change can be as bad as yelling "Fire" in a crowed theater As It COULD BE A MAJOR turn off for many.....

and insofar as 'most other car clubs charge..' I can only disagree... I belong to about 8-12 websites, and only one charges.. the TeamShelby... and they have a 'free' part and a 'members' part... in my experience... :)
