It's trying to snow out there this morning. Guess it's time for the winter prep to begin. Stable in the fuel, change oil & filter, connect the battery tender and do a quick detail.

Someday I will not have to put it away for winters.

same here Paul...

we are in for snow today and temps are going to drop....I have been trying to clean out the garage to get the kat in, but it is a slow process to throw out all the stuff that I have been saving over the years....
I should have put up my portable plastic shelter then I could have kept all my junk....

Mine comes home from the body shop this week.

I still have about 1/32 of an inch of tread left on my EMTs just waiting to be burned off. :tu:

DC, Brian just can't avoid getting hit!

He needs to invest in a fluorescent orange paint job, flashing yellow lights and a big air cushion that wraps around the kat.

I know the Prowler is approx. 90% aluminum...but I swear mine is made out light sheet metal!!! My car is a virtual magnet for shitbags!!! BOTH times my kat got hit...I was at a dead stop.

Last year a 65 Impala rear ended me going into a car show...of all places. Now only about a month ago, an Infinity Q35 backed into my passengers side rear quarter. :x I could have buffed out most of it but when the bottom portion of the rocker flexed...the paint cracked. Damn was I pissed!!!

While it's in the shop they are going to shoot the drivers side too. I have a spot on that side where someone...possibly the original owner...had burned through the clear with a buffer. My bodyman said it looks as if that side has been painted before.

You see...Carfax is'nt 100% foolproof!!! If they never report the accident...the incident will stay below the radar.

I have been contemplating on going custom on my kat but if I did...I would'nt be able to put the miles on it that I have been. One rock chip on a custom job and you're all done.

Prowler Purple is pretty easy to touch up!

Still waiting for someone to paint their's high-voltage blue.

As for putting your kat away .... if for no other reason, that's why all PROWLER owners should move to florida.

Winter time here is GREAT for prowlin. Especially when its like high 60's and you have the top down, with the heater on. So much fun fun fun.

Krzy, Someone in the Northwest has a kat painted HV blue and did the seats in white.

I'll see if I can get you a link to a picture or two.

A guy on ebay is selling clear lenses to attach to your original base.

haven't bought any so I can't attest to the fit or quality or the seller.

Hey - I was wondering if anyone has some good pictures of the HV Blue Prowler? The Original that is. I may know someone that is considering making one. Would love to see detailed shots of the interior as well.
