move your 401K distribution to a better fund. There's a couple of good fund managers @ Vanguard and Fidelity that's doing LOF 11~15% returns with no fees and low minimums. Some of the funds are doing YTD 25% returns.

I'm seeing 13% up for the current year. Very conservative allocation on this one.

I know of a couple of folks who threw in a ton of $ during the meltdown...they made out with $$$$$$$$$$$ in the last couple weeks - there's alot of profit taking in the recent weeks.

My old 401 K was rolled over in to a Fidelity IRA and I am in 2 funds

FHKCX (primarily US firms doing business in China) up 64.61% YTD and
JSVAX (Janus Contrarian fund) up 32.92% YTD

Still down a bunch - between 20 and 30% each from Nov 2007 but both funds making nice recoveries this year.
