Soo..what do you think it will go for?

Year: 2001 Make: PLYMOUTH Model: PROWLER Style: 2 DOOR CONVERTIBLE Exterior Color: SILVER Interior Color: BLACK Cylinders: 6 Engine Size: 3.5 LITER Transmission: 4-SPEED AUTOMATIC Summary: This loaded 2001 Plymouth Prowler is one of the up and coming rare collector cars. 3,600 original miles. Details: This car comes completely loaded and is near new with only 3,600 original miles. This Prowler comes from a private collection and has always been garaged in a climate controlled environment. This car has never been driven in the rain and the paint has never been power buffed. 2001 was the last year the Prowler was produced by Plymouth.

I guess I'll see it Friday when I go. Kat's are still in the tank, I wouldn't be surprised if it only goes for around $25,900.

Little late my friend, $36,900 is what it sold for (with premium), just incredible. At those rates, I'd think mine with its mods and trailer would get $50K ... almost make me consider it.

That's a great price for the seller not so sure about the buyer but hope it bodes well for future KAT pricing.

seeing many go for around 25, and the economy in the shitter, I almost think they are at the bottom. Don't think they'll ever go down to 20, and at some point they're guaranteed to go back up.

I think alot of bidders have not clue when they go to these auctions and get 'prompted' to bid high up...just watch those nasty Mecum shows on Discovery...just as sleazy as car salesmen...no difference.

p.s. I agree about sending the prowler to these auctions...imagine..hardtop, trailer, complete package. just make sure u have a whole bunch of auction sales guy talking it up!

It's their job to hype the people up!

This is why the cars get close to top dollar at Barrett and Mecum.

Hey remember that customized prowler that someone was showing on here a while ago that was customized to the max including cutting the front fenders to have like arrows on the front - kinda batman like. Something like that seems like it would do get at an auction, while I THINK that car was only asking like 25K - 30K.

It would be fun to do. Each of us buy $1,000 shares and see how it goes. Think worst case scenario you'd lose $5,000 on the deal - or 20%, I think its worth investigation. Hell - there's a few of those nice Prowlers that come along very cheap. Turbos', Lambo's, Superchargers, and chrome. Seen ones with 10-15K of extras sell for around 30 lately.
