Neat stuff - but this is a little bit more than a garage setup to see that amount of detail - let alone track the thing. Impressive that the hardware is commercially available too.

Thats great Ken:tu: It goes around the world every 45 minutes. The Nasa site gives you the time it will be going over your area.

I would walk the dog at night at that specific time, and it was never late. Not as well defined as in that video, but a site to see nevertheless.

Unbeleivable, what we can accomplish when we all work together :beer:

Readily available hardware that attaches to your telescope... CCD imaging...

nice film alright!


The shuttle/space station is flying overhead now at decent hours... last night at 8:17 my time... check the site for your time... amazingly easy to spot... and really 'cool' just to see it once if you never have... check this site for your local times...

The shuttle is landing on Thursday... so be quick about it!!!
