Just got back from picking up a new daily driver for Kyle this afternoon.

What do you all think, with just a little work it should be a good car.

Figure just a little filler, a little rubbing compound and a little buffing should have this pony ready to ride. :tu::tu:

:rll::rll: that's a good one :tu:

on a more serious note....door for the stang is easy to source and cheap.

In addition to what Pumpkin said...would get sports suspension and drop the ride + bigger wheels to fill up the well/wheel gap.

...a big OUCH! Gonna take more than a Door to fix that.
Make sure they allow for a new Quarter so your Shop can find all the hidden damage to the inner structure (inner quarter, wheelhouse, latch pillar, floor, rocker, roof, Hinge pillar, etc..). That kind of hit can be really deceiving as to the extent of the damage..

Bought this one wrecked for a good price. Needed some parts for Kyles 99, and my daughter has a 98 also, both V-6 cars, alot of the mechanicals will work on either car.

This one is going to be a parts car only. Too much damage to even consider fixing. Roof is wrinkled, as is the quarter panel in two places. Bottom edge of the hinge pillar is wrinkled pretty badly. I also assume the floor pan is damaged as the passenger seat is sitting very crooked. Till I saw it in person I entertained the idea that it could possibly be fixed.

Story I got from the owner is his son pulled out in front of a ford taurus in the rain. As you can see the taurus did not stop. No one was hurt surprisingly.

Buddy, what do you think the airbags might be worth?

Tires are decent, rims may clean up good. We'll see.

I was just about to say that it's a nice ride ....................... UNTIL I saw the passenger side :rll::rll:

Good parts source for sure - ya don't think it would be worth fixing the door ?

What other damage does it have ?

Without even tearing into I've identified the roof is wrinkled, as is the quarter panel in two places along with the front of the quarter panel is smashed . Bottom edge of the hinge pillar is wrinkled pretty badly. I also assume the floor pan is damaged as the passenger seat is sitting very crooked. Definitely not worth fixing unless one had their own bodyshop or was a very good bodyman.

Brian, probably somewhere between $50.00-$100.00 each depending on how much someone needs one. If you can sell it with the Air Bag Moniter (blue box about 5" X 6" x 1 1/2") you might be able to get $250.00 or so for all of it. If you include the Airbag Sensors on the front, maybe as much as $300.00 for everything.
I'd sell the whole front end as one chunk too, from the doors forward. If you sell just a fender or light etc. you'll end up with everything else in your back yard... ;-)

Thanks for the input Buddy. I've seen front clips sitting in salvage yards, but have no idea where they cut the unibody at to keep the complete clip usable.

They usually cut them right at the firewall, behind the shock towers. Might be wise to sell the Clip and then cut it or have someone cut it for your Buyer where he needs it.
