A man gets on a elevator, turns to press his desired floor,
turns around & notices 3 figures standing there:
Osama Bin Laden!
A deadly rattlesnake!
Ed Hall, the Lawyer!
He laments, "Oh Christ! What do I do know?"
Then he remembers he has his revolver on him.
But he only has two rounds!
So he shots Ed Hall twice!

U.c.l.a. Just announced that beginning in october, they will be substitutinG lawyers for lab mice in all of their experiments.
why you ask?
well there are three good reasons....
1. In california, lawyers are more plenitful than mice.
2. The lab workers are less likely to form emotional attachements to lawyers.
3. There are some things you just cant get lab mice to do...

I have always wondered Ed,,,,,,what form of law do you specialize in?
Have your own firm,,,or work for a firm?

Been on my own for 10+ years. Actually been very fortunate in that i have never had to spend one dollar on advertising. Represent small to medium size business's for the most part... Anything from contract issues, real estate matters, union contract negotiations, collections, etc.
From time to time i will do family law, criminal matters etc, general civil issues, but only for the employees of the business's i represent. I like the variety.(sometimes...)
i also do a fair amount of property tax matters (appellate work primarily) and have handled some appeals for the county i work in.
