I had a bit of trouble with the paint cracking on the plenum I had painted so Travis wanted to repaint it. It was a preparation issue. All fixed and better than new, he does this stuff freehand so it would be tough to reproduce the flames the way they were so he did his magic again.... I have posted 2 pictures.... the old paint first and then the new repainted one....I love the new one as it has smaller flame curls and gives the flames more detail...

Dreamer, the mod king, gave me the idea of darkening the tail light lenses.
Travis sanded these down to remove the factory raised letters and removed the pin striping I had on them . He then applied a smokey clear coating that really looks great...smooths that fender out nicely..

Looking good Jim! :tu:
What did he have to do to possibly prevent your plenum from cracking in the future? Did he have to add a flex inhibitior to the paint?

yes it does,
the intensity doesn't seem to be diminished when the lights are on just when they are off. in the sun it has a very deep red tint, but in the shade it looks black....

you know he told me, but not being a paint guy, it didn't make alot of sense, something about the build up being thinner and he used a different manufacturer of paint...

Really like the new Tail-Lights. They're very stealth-like.
