I love this track.....!!!!

These guys will be doing in excess of 200mph on the straights.....full bore, wide open, white knuckle racing...

This 1.5 mile oval has high 24 degree banks, and lots of room to move around....the Busch race yesterday had a lot of cautions, the cup race today will be no different, especially in the last 30 laps.

The chase drivers will be nervous wrecks today, with the guys at the top of the list trying to stay out of trouble and the guys in the bottom 10 going for broke... :burnout :burnout :burnout

Well it's supposed to be 70 degrees here today. Perfect weather. About 20 degrees cooler than when they were here in the spring. The track is about 25 miles SE of where I live. I can almost hear the the engines.

Great job Jim. I taped the race,,,came home late to watch it,,,,damn VCR didn't fire off to tape,,,I'm pissed. Will watch Speed Channel to get all the ups and downs of yesterday's race.
