Who had the tires to give away??? I didn't them them then, I need them now. If they have been given away, who has decent ones for sale (or for FREE). I need the 20" more than the 17"s......
Thanks

Hi! That was me . . but they went to DC to replace the slicks he had on the black one. I'm sorry! Hey! Don't you have plus one or two wheels and tires on your Kat anyway?

I had no idea I would buy another one either.... Sale is not complete, just got to write the check, so no details or pictures until the deal is done. It's a 99 Black one that will get repainted, custom interior, etc.
I have been in Phoenix for 4-5 days a week for several months now and miss my Orange prowler... so, I figured I'd buy another one to screw around here with...
I tried to buy a Ferrari, they put me on a list and told me to wait 4 years... I don't see any other cars in the market that I would rather own for the money. At least a prowler keeps its value if you buy it right.

Desert kats are nice..no rust! But to repaint a black? that's sinful...unless of course if it has swirls, scratches etc..I assume most 1999 would be..cept mine. :devil

no rust ... I read this other places also. What's to rust on an aluminum car? LOL.
Black does seem like the best color to paint other colors though because of the firewall and such items.

Well, we'll all be hanging out here waiting to see what you do to it! Godspeed.

To be honest, I think Black is the worst color for the Prowler, it hides all the lines on the car. Add to that that I stopped buying black cars because they are way too hard to keep clean...
No scratches on her, a good polish/wax job on this prowler would make it look better than new. I figured I'll drive it as black car for a few months and then start painting her a different color every time I get bored. A black car is the best specimen for a repaint.

Paint it HV-Blue. That color really does make the prowler stand out. Or you know what color I can't believe I've never seen on a prowler?
A true Candy Apple Red. Why hasn't anyone done that?

I want to do a Candy Lime Green prowler first. White will likely be the next color....

I like all the colors but have a special place in my heart for black ones...
I spend a lot of time washing and waxing my car and it always looks great...and I don't mind the work... the painters call a black car "the unfinished masterpeice"....
to each his own..

Yep, Randy said it right...Jimbo's got a black beauty...
a friend of mine saw the calendar and said Jimbo's flames were amazing/unreal,
and was his favorite..that, coming from a guy who hates flames.
