I like the original OEM wheels, but the asking price for replacements are way too much!
Will keep hunting, in the mean time...what's your take?
Its tough finding a matching set for the Prowler sizes.
Some alternatives to the OEM Prowler wheels:
(please send suggestions too!)
1.American Racing Torq Thrust II Custom Offset

2. Ultra Wheel Jovan Type 845/846 Counter Pressure Cast Chrome

3. Montegi Touge (don't really like this one)

hands down .. #1
if it were another manufacturer I would consider them ...
American Racing Wheels made our stock wheels, and they peeled like a banana...
i'm looking at that Alsa chrome paint to fix mine up this winter...either that, or powder coating the inner barrels with that chromelike powder coat.
check it out,

#1. Now if you put Jays center billet caps on your stock Prowler wheels, the look is very close. We have that mod and really like it. No center caps.

Those rims on that "was it high voltage blue ??" car at the stereo shop in cali has some sweet rims too though.
My favorite rims are:
A) Factory
B) What george has on his now
C) What george did have on his before
D) The rims on that HV-Blue Prowler (I swear it started as a mulholland and then HV flames, then they swapped it to HV with silver flames)

Dang DC, are you opening a can of worms! I wouldn't even know where to start. I love AC's budniks, and I also like Intro wheels Mulholland 5's: http://www.prowltalk.com/ppost/data/500/niceprowler3.jpg

Smart man! HRE will take your order and build the wheels to your specifications. In about 4 weeks you will get them in. HRE is known for their high end product, they got their start producing racing wheels.
It has been said that if there is a small scratch on the set when you recieve them, they scrap the set and build 4 new ones for you.....

I think I will stay with my original silver wheels. No fuss over the chrome and I have two spares. One in each size.

Keep the pics coming! I've been looking since mine are starting to peel. The Diablo Wishbone was my selection so far, but these pics are giving me some other ideas!

Anyone know of any other online dealers that have the flash selector that Wheels West uses.? I like to see some other manufacturers, and the ability to see them on the car first is great.
Thanks!
