Installed tires today @ Allen Tires http://www.allentireco.com/nitrogen.htm
We used the one in Arcadia, ask for Matthew if you decide to use them. Highly recommended. Certified for EMTs. There was a S500 getting its Brabus installed.
They only use nitrogen, which i recalled reading 'elsewhere'. Had a very interesting conversation with Matthew about nitrogen with regards to the Prowler aluminium wheels. He refused to put the polished steel (?) valve caps back on the Prowler wheels. Something about how aluminium will react/corrode with the steel cap which I didn't really comprehend. Any ideas? I might just call tomorrow and ask again.
In the end, he installed a cap which has a nitrogen logo on it to indicate re-fill by nitrogen 'where available'.
A good thing about nitrogen is that it gets ride of that annoying low-pressure light during cold temperatures (hey! we do get to the low 60s in LA!)
They have a very clean and nice facility with performance cars a regular clientele. I might use them for alignment next time.
