Am looking for one front and one rear. Will take complete set if price is right. Chromed preferred.

Thanks!

DC, Did we curb rash a pair? Or looking to replace some peeling ones?

KK: When we brought tires to the shop to be installed, we found out one rear and one front were slightly bent during the balancing. We suspect it was due to a large pothole on the freeway we hit (it was a scary loud THUD!) last weekend, we thought the car frame broke! So we found out today what was the real damage. Amazing, the wheels held up and the wheel caps didn't pop.

You could never tell the wheel was slightly bent until the balancing part!

I bought a pair of 17's off ebay for my trailer (not installed yet) - and didn't realize, but one has a "slight" dent in it that I don't think will affect anyhing except maybe balancing. Does it really matter enough to replace the wheel?

Hey DC, have you checked with a wheel repair company? They may be repairable.

KK: On the car, u're supposed to feel some 'shake' if the wheel is bent. The Prowler is harsh and the roads are crappy in LA..so there's always shaking, I can't tell the diff.

I asked the tire guy and he said, there's no gurantee anything will happen or not happen. Its just structurally whether it can hold up to the beatings from the road and that it will damage the tire. He said for the peace of mind to just replace it.

am doing it this week! I also found a 'local' place:
http://www.wheel-repairs.com/

Anyone knows of them? Might even use them to re-chrome one of the wheels that are peeling.

being that mine will be on an Infrequently used trailer wheel, unless the tire mounting place yells about it - I'll probably let it be. Was HARD for me to see it anyhow.

Exactly..can't tell by the naked eye...so i'm still driving on 'slightly' bent wheels.
