Edward Miller Jr., of 3501 Woolman Drive in the Bull Run area, died at the scene of an accident at 2:30 p.m. after he ran a red light at the intersection of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway and Pleasant Valley Road in Fairfax County, said a Fairfax County police press release.
Miller, 59, was driving his 2001 Chrysler Prowler north on Pleasant Valley Road and was struck on the passenger side by a Chevrolet Tahoe when he entered the intersection, the release said.
The 48-year-old Fairfax-area man who was driving the Tahoe was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital for non life-threatening injuries, the release said.
Speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash, the release said.
