Brian, Thanks for posting the pictures. When my computer went to the PC doctor, I lost all my pictures that were stored in it.

I need to take some new pictures with the bumpers off!

I have some mods planned for next spring also.

Paul.

It's funny you say that KK. Each year at the Northeast Exotic Show the girls...the trophy presenters...get prettier and prettier. :tu:

Thanks for posting the pictures.

Great pics Brian. Your paint really looks good. What are you using on it?

I also really like the look of the original alloy wheels on Paul's car. The chrome is great, but the unplated look is really growing on me. I might have to pick a set of those up next time somebody's geting rid of theirs.

Anytime DC!!! I guess my son should have beaned me off the head with that RC car months ago. :rll:

Scott,
Very simple and inexpensive process. I use 3M Imperial Hand Glaze(Part # 051131-05990) at least a couple of times a year. I've been using this stuff since the mid 80's. I buy the 32 oz. size bottle.
I apply it with a proffessional 2-speed buffer (whatever brand you prefer)that is equipped with a Meguiars 8" sponge pad (W9000) which run about $12.00.
This hand glaze will remove swirl marks, oxidation and old wax. This product can be found at any auto body supply store for under $25.00 a bottle which is enough to do about 15 cars when applied with a buffer.

"SPECIAL NOTE"

ALWAYS...make sure that while you're using the buffer...there is a sufficient amount of product on the surface of your kat. It's very unlikely that you will develop enough heat to burn the clear with a sponge pad...but I guess anything is possible.
This is why I NEVER use a cloth pad when I'm using my buffer.

I then top it off with Meguiars NXT generation liquid wax. About $14.00 a bottle at Wal-Mart. Enough to do my kat at least a half a dozen times. I use a sponge pad to apply the wax and not my buffer.

Only 2 steps to my system but I am very happy with the end result.

I hope I have been of some help...Scott!

Brian: Norm is gonna smack u for not claying!

I feel I get the same if not better results with my Hand Glaze vs. the clay bar. Remember...the clay bar is applied by hand. When I apply the Glaze...it's with my high speed buffer. This is part of the reason why I can achieve the glossy...deep...finish that I do.JMO

There is no right or wrong way...this is my method. This is just the way I prefer and I have been using this method for almost 20 years!

I normally don't bring up my method because a lot of guys prefer the clay bar and don't know about the benefits of this 3-M Imperial Hand Glaze. I shared this info cuz Scott was curious about what I used.
